The Road is Narrow

God never promises that the road will be easy and short but He does promise that He will never leave nor forsake us.  He has us in the palm of His hand.  He is in control of every situation and will never allow us to be tested beyond our capabilities.  He says that we should not be afraid or dismayed but that we should stand on His Word knowing that His Power is at work in us and through us.

Our God is able to do for us more than what we could ever think or imagine.  He has come to give us life in abundance and even though it might not seem like this when we go through a crisis but we need to still believe and trust that He is walking the road with us and will not let go of us.


Be encouraged that His Love for us is eternal....it never ends.




Lord help us today to always put our trust in You and confidently rely on Your Grace and Mercy.  

Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted.
Titus 1:15, NLT 

Some people see good all around them, while others see nothing but evil or the negative in things. What is the difference? Our souls become filters through which we perceive goodness or evil. The pure (those who have Christ in control of their lives) learn to see goodness and purity even in this evil world. But corrupt and unbelieving people find evil in everything because their evil minds and hearts colour even the good they see and hear. 


Whatever you choose to fill your mind with will affect the way you think and act. Turn your thoughts to God and His Word, and you will discover more and more goodness, even in this evil world. 

A mind filled with good has little room for what is evil.  Let us meditate on what is good, pure and honourable and walk worthy of our calling.  Our lives should speak of worship and obedience to the Most High God.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,

and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from your presence,

and take not your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, 

                                                                   

and uphold me with a willing spirit.

(Psalm 51:10-12 ESV)

When God touches your heart and imparts His Wisdom and Power into your life, change has to take place as the fire of God burns away what was never meant to be part of your life.  We have been created with eternity in our hearts and are purposed to carry His divine nature on this journey of life to Glorify Him in all we do.

His Grace is sufficient for us as His mercy is renewed daily, His love for us is perfect and everlasting and we have the right as His children to lay claim to every promise in His Word and make it our own.  Our inheritance is not only laid up in the treasure of Heaven but in the Person of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we live, move and have our being.  Because He Is, we are.  The deep revelation of Jesus Christ lies in our surrender unto Him under the wings of His Presence.

Introduction

I have always written my thoughts, poems and stories in a journal and realized that will not reach anyone and will not glorify the Father unless I maybe publish it one day.  I have decided to start this blog so that I can share the treasure of the Father's heart and love when I spend time in His Presence as He reveals Himself to me.  I trust that as I go from one level of Glory to another this will inspire and motivate you into a deeper relationship with Him. This journey will be awesome and will Glorify Him through a lifestyle of Worship, Obedience and Surrender unto the King of Kings.
